The next time you are getting ready to send statements out to your customers have some statement stuffer printing done and slip them inside each envelope. While most of your advertising budget goes towards bringing in new customers, it is important to do some that is exclusively meant to keep the ones you already have. These little inserts are a great way to get your customers to reorder.
Let your current customers know about all the specials you will be having during the month. This gives them advance notice and they can mark it on their calendars. It also lets them know that you appreciate their business.
You may also want to consider putting some type of special coupon on the page that only loyal patrons receive. It can be a percentage based discount on what they normally order, or a nice amount off something they could use, but normally do not get from you. This is a good way to introduce new items too.
If you are friends with other business owners who are not your competition, ask to put your inserts in their statements. They can be especially effective if the other company compliments what you have for sale or your services. You can set it up to let them have a stuffer put in your statements too. Do this with different businesses every month and you will generate a lot of new clients.

Having double or triple the amount printed at once will usually bring down the per piece price. Use them every month, with everything you have to mail out and see how much business they generate.
